Gardobond^® X 4802/2

Next-generation, chrome-free, VOC-free, multi-metal, sustainable pretreatment

Gardobond X 4802/2 is a robust, chrome-free and VOC-free, single component pretreatment technology that provides excellent paint adhesion and corrosion protection on a wide variety of metal substrates for coil coating.

It is based on a blend of polymers and a titanium fluoride inorganic matrix and is compatible with different paint systems, such as polyester, polyurethanes, PVDF, and epoxy.

• Improves sustainability through lower coating weights and reduces water use as it is a no-rinse pretreatment.
• Resists moisture and blistering in QCT, applied by roll coater.
